Rescued after 5 years tied to a tree two boys with disabilities in India. HEARTBREAKING
Jiva was found naked, while one leg was tied to a tree, while Umesh was tied to bamboo, among livestock.
Two boys with disabilities were rescued after 5 years being naked tied to a tree by their families who wanted to ´avoid problems´.
One was tied in the entrance of the barn by his grandparents because he was “violent”, while the other was tied in a field tied to a where his father would tie him up every day before going to work.
Shockingly, both families justified their acts of cruelty, saying it was the only way to avoid problems.
Jiva Ram, 11, from Baydi village in Udaipur, is suffering from polyomyelous and mental disorders, his father, Hurma Ram, tied him to a tree in front of his house, before he went to work on his farm.
Umesh, 8, from Kolyaraja in the State of Rajasthan, northern India, this eight-year-old has poor vision and mental disability. His mother and father Bhagawati Lal and Manu Devi died five years ago of HIV disease, and Umesh went to live with his grandparents. They justify the child’s abuse by their old age and the inability to run after the boy because he often managed to run away.

As they say, it was heartbreaking to find the children in such a state, Jiva was found naked, while one leg was tied to a tree, while Umesh was tied to bamboo, among livestock.
Both boys are now safe and free at NGO Aasra Sansthan, the Child Rights Department.
