Vultures – what kind of birds are they really?

We know that vultures are birds of prey but, what kind of birds are they really?

Vultures (griffon vulture)  are birds of prey that are from a family of hawks, well known for their incredibly strong želučani acid which can destroy bacteria, including cholera and anthrax, that is evidence that is lethal to many other species.

They also carry specific antibodies to help them in the defense of botulism toxin, so that even if the disease killed prey, vultures can eat it without negative consequences.
